Hunter’s Hope Foundation

Scott Zeplowitz is a volunteer for the Hunter’s Hope Foundation. Hunter’s Hope Foundation was established to address the acute need for information and research with respect to Krabbe Disease and related Leukodystrophies. In addition, we strive to support and encourage those afflicted and their families as they struggle to endure, adjust and cope with the demands of these fatal illnesses.

Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America

ROI Financial Group along with New York Life collaborated with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America for the “Take Steps” walk September 24, 2016, where we helped raise over $50,000 for Crohn's and Colitis research. We were also honored to receive the Top Team designation; this title is awarded to the team who has secured the most donations and sponsorships.

The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. It was founded in 1967 by Irwin M. and Suzanne Rosenthal, William D. and Shelby Modell, and Henry D. Janowitz, M.D.

Camp Good Days & Special Times

Marc became involved with Camp Good Days & Special Times in 2007. Since then, he has served as an Advisory Board Member and was inducted into the Camp Good Days Ring of Honor in 2015. In 2008 he received the “Teddi” award and in 2014, along with his wife Tricia, they received the Spirit of Teddi Humanitarian of the year award.

Camp Good Days provides services for: children with cancer, children who have a parent or sibling with cancer and/or children who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer. We also offer programs for women and men who have or have had cancer. In addition, Camp Good Days provides programs for children touched by sickle cell anemia. All of the programs and services are offered free of charge for the participants.

At Camp Good Days, participants have the opportunity to regain some of what cancer has taken away from them. While a vast majority of our children reside in NY, Camp Good Days has no geographical boundaries and accepts children from all 50 states and all over the world. No child with cancer is ever turned away from Camp Good Days.

Kaleida Health Foundation

Marc is on the Board of Directors for the Kaleida Health Foundation whose mission is to advance the health of our community They provide compassionate, high-value, quality care, improving health in Western New York and beyond, educating future health care leaders and discovering innovative ways to advance medicine.

Amherst Youth Hockey

Marc is the MOHL coach for Amherst Youth Hockey. The Amherst Youth hockey association was started back in 1964 when Audubon rink was first built.

Agents Advisory Council

David is a prior member of the Agents Advisory Council of New York Life. The AAC is a group of 24 New York Life agents that have a certain level of success called Council level. AAC members are elected by thousands of fellow New York Life Council-level agents. The AAC meets two times a year to discuss and resolve relevant issues with the company’s senior management.

Finance Committee

David is a former Board Member and Chair of the Finance Committee, having served for over 20 years. He continues to support the agency and its mission in various capacities. The mission of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo, Inc. (“JCC”) is to build and strengthen the Jewish and Western New York communities by providing recreational, educational, cultural and social programs and services that are consistent with Jewish values. The JCC’s vision is “Building Community and Enriching Lives”.

New York Life Foundation

David has been an active volunteer participant supporting the mission of the New York Life Foundation. A foundation made up of New York Life agents who donate money to local and national charities, as well as, volunteer for projects to help their local community. In the past 35 years, they have given away nearly $170 million.
